It was once said that "a free lunch is only found in mousetraps", and that's a very true statement! Working toward your goal of a well-trained dog is going to be a lot of hard work... But your reward for all the relentless and often-times tiring training is a dog who respects you, understands you, and (best of all) is closer to you.

Every human and canine pair has unique needs and requirements! We believe that every dog needs lessons customized to his or her individual behaviors, needs, and medical issues. Our system is stylized to include complete obedience drills for both on and off leash work while building the bond between man and his best friend.

There are three levels to the Nitro Dog Training System. Level One sets your dog up for on-leash success with learning the basics like sit, come, stay, etc. Level Two develops your dog's off-leash skills while preparing them for intensive work later on in Level Three, with training in things like Search and Rescue, Scent Detection, and many other areas of work. For your smaller friends, Nitro K-9 just released it's new Mini Heros program for dogs 35lbs and under! While the same things are taught, they're taught in smaller amounts to encourage more absorption of the lesson and less frustration associated with a smaller attention span.

We have a Hands On training program that teaches you how to work with your dog to get the desired behavior while offering support and guidance. We also offer a One on One program for those with a busy lifestyle. We're here to make things easier for you... And your dog!

For training purposes, we require a leather collar and leash. The only other type of collar we will use is a pinch collar, which can be explained HERE.
